TIPS: In the final run-up to Christmas this week, amid the eternally significant reasons we again celebrate Christ's first coming, don't neglect to also be a "fun" dad! You might find one or more of these Web sites useful:

www.northpole.com is largely a noncommercial site to visit with your child. It has neat animated graphics of Santa's village, the elf academy and reindeer barn with audio or read-it-yourself stories.

www.claus.com sports a fun "Nice-O-Meter" and an animated "Santa show" newscast given by an elf.

www.noradsanta.com is the North American Aerospace Defense Command site where they use radar, satellites, "Santa Cams" and fighter jets to track Santa's progress on Christmas Eve.

At www.emailsanta.com your child can write an e-mail to Santa and get a letter in response (to print out) in about 20 seconds.

And don't forget to Google the phrase "Christmas jokes" to refill your humor file. Contribute more laughs to your Christmas festivities this year! Question: What nationality is Santa Clause? Answer: North Polish.
