IDEA: Whether your child is quite young, fully grown and gone, or somewhere in the process, take five minutes between now and New Year's Day and jot him or her a short year-end note. Comment on an area of growth you have observed this year and express your pride. Nothing impacts like your praise as a father. If you are together as a family New Year's Eve, or at the close of dinner on New Year's Day, light a couple of candles to set the mood and read your note to each child as you present it to him or her. As circumstances dictate, you can also seal it in an envelope and mail it or hand it to your child. One final give away DAD eTIPs appeal?. Don't miss this week's new "Romance Tip ".
